IRRTC ran our Heavy Vehicle Rescue course in October this year amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic. It has been a really difficult year this year and we had to ensure our course was COVID secure so our training venue was prepared and students were checked on a daily basis for any signs or symptoms.
The course was attended by 6 different fire and rescue services – Suffolk, South Yorkshire, Leicestershire, Cheshire, Bedfordshire and Cornwall.
Feedback on this 5-day course was excellent and many services who attended are already preparing to send us their next cohorts of learners.
This course is designed for both instructors and operators and covers all the necessary elements for rescue from large vehicles, bariatric rescue and trains.
